As all the funds you raise will go towards the global mission of Bible Society NZ to help make the Bible accessible to everyone and encouraging interaction with it, you will be spreading the good news of the gospel around the world and bringing Hope to those who need it most – such as those currently affected by the war in Ukraine.

See the lengths our colleagues in Ukraine are going to, during the current war, to deliver the ‘living bread’ to those desperately seeking it!

At Bible Society NZ, July is the month we set aside to raise up the place of the Bible in New Zealand – that is why we call it 'Bible Month'.

By joining Read for Bibles, we pray you’ll be nourished and transformed through the Reflections on Hope devotional that you will receive for the 21-Day Bible Reading Challenge. You can also access this devotional on the YouVersion Bible App.

We hope that, through this, you will be building a Bible engagement habit that lasts a lifetime, so that you may continue to draw closer to God and receive guidance from His Word as you navigate through the challenges of life.

Since 1846, it’s been Bible Society NZ’s global mission to help make the Bible accessible to everyone and encourage interaction with it. As a Kiwi charity that is inspired by the Gospel, we do that through 14 Manna Christian Bookshops nationwide and by partnering with New Zealand churches, organisations and over 150 Bible Societies across the world.
